 How It Works


  •  BIB Recording Technical Description

        Most IP phones support BIB. When a call is active, its incoming and outgoing traffic is sent to a voice gateway, which then passes it to a landline phone outside the PSTN (for internal and external call recording) or to the landline user (for internal call recording). The incoming and outgoing traffic is also copied to a recording server for call recording. The recording software resides on a server interconnected with the IP telephony network and the CUCM network, receiving and recording traffic from the IP phone.
